Ulloa PTA is comprised of active, dedicated parents who want the best for the school and the children.
The board members – President, Vice President (2 members), Secretary and Treasurer are a vital part of all activities that support the school in education, cultural awareness, advancing STEM and promoting a fun environment.
Activities supported by the PTA
- Salaries of Physical Education and Computer Lab teacher
- Grade level enrichment
- Supplies for individual class rooms
- Academic software
- Buses for field trips
- Gardening Projects
- Events at school – Community Picnic, Fun Day, Graduation, Haunted House, & Teacher Appreciation Luncheon
Ulloa PTA conducts only two fundraisers each year—Direct Appeal and Walk-a-Thon.
Direct Appeal—a letter is sent to each household with a request to donate $330 of which $5 is for PTA membership. If every family donates $325, there is no need for any other fund raising events!
Walk-a-Thon is a fun filled, all day event in the spring where students and teachers run or walk around the school yard to show support for the PTA. Each student is asked to raise $100 by soliciting funds from family members and friends.
The budget for 2018–2019 is $127,410. All the monies collected by the PTA are poured back into the school to support various events, activities and services.
