A haunted house is built and decorated in the school’s auditorium. On Halloween Day, all students get a chance to walk through the haunted house and enjoy some spooky fun.
Volunteers needed: To help build, set-up and decorate on October 28, 2018 and to help take down the haunted house on November 4, 2018.
HALLOWEEN SCAREFEST & PARADE
October 31, 2018
Run the haunted house and pass out treats at the costume parade.
Volunteers needed: To run the haunted house. Each class will get to walk through and see the decorations.
Volunteers needed: To pass out treats at the costume parade. Students will walk around the schoolyard and collect candy.
November 15, 2018
Students donate new or used books. In return each child is allowed to choose the books they want to read.
Volunteers needed: To sort through books accordingly to age appropriateness and grade level.
March 15, 2019
Students walk/run laps around the yard. Prizes are given to top fundraising students/classes and students who run the most laps.
Volunteers needed: To help solicit prizes, plan the event, and run the event.
April 19, 2019 (Organized by 3rd grade parents)
A fun day at the field where activities and games are set-up for kids to play.
Volunteers needed: To plan the activities, set-up, run activities and games for the students, and clean up.
TEACHER/STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK
May 6–10, 2019
May 10, 2019 – Luncheon (Organized by 5th grade parents)
In honor of our teachers and staff, PTA organizes a full week of breakfast/snack and a special Friday luncheon. We also raffle off gifts to EVERY Ulloa teacher and staff member.
Volunteers needed: To solicit gifts and gift card donations from friends and businesses. Prepare event flyers, manage food sign-ups, etc. On the day of, need help to set-up, prepare and cook food, serve food and clean up.
5TH GRADE GRADUATION
May 30, 2019 – Decoration
May 31, 2019 – Reception (Organized by 4th grade parents)
PTA will host a graduation reception after the graduation ceremony.
Volunteers needed: Day prior to Graduation, to decorate gymnasium. Day of Graduation, volunteers are needed to do final reception set-up, serve cake/drinks and clean up.
